This kit is used to upgrade pony rod seal assemblies from the original Meyers assemblies providing greater oil sealing capability and longevity. The new seal housings have a thicker base with an O-ring seal rather than a paper gasket. It is recommended this upgrade be done in conjunction with a full crankcase overhaul and replacement of plunger assemblies. Recomended replacement for P/N 309078.
